"TOMMY" J FORSYTH

Page created 8 October,2006

Apparently, Tommy came to Norwood after retiring as a Headmaster at a Starbeck school. He taught History & English Literature at Norwood.

September,1948.
History lesson with Tommy Forsyth in Form 5 (First Floor, over Assembly Room). Tommy's chalk copperplate handwriting on the blackboard is visible through a magnifying glass on the original photo and the last lines mention "to the aspirations of Pope Julius....antipathy of France."
Oh well, it was a nice sunny day!
