Rydal Mount, Westmorland

Charlie's family home in Avenue Road, Scarborough, "Rydal House" was probably named after Rydal Mount, the house in Westmorland (now Cumbria) in which William Wordsworth lived from 1813 to 1850.

Rydal Mount overlooks Rydal Water, and is between Grasmere and Ambleside
